“Iron & Titanium Mineral Processing Industrial Co.” has been established as a subsidiary of “Daric Group” with the aim of investment on “Eskandian Titanium Mine”. This mine is located in Urmia city, west Azerbaijan province, Iran and its elevation is about 2,200 above sea level.
Exploration activity was begun in 2011 and exploitation certificate was taken in 2012.
Ilminite and Magnetite are the main ores of this mine and Vanadium is another metal which exist in the ore body. Reserve of this mine estimated more than 5 million tons of Titan and Iron ore with average grade of titanium from 6 to 12 percent and as for iron, from 12 to 45 percent. For the time being, titanium and iron concentration plant with the grade of 44 and 66 percent, respectively is in construction stage on the ground with 3 hectares area and input capacity of this production line is 250 tons per day raw material.
