Sabalan Iron & steel complex is being constructed on a plot land with an area of 70 ha And located at 15 kilometers distance from Meshginshahr to Ardabil road.
This plant is one of the largest Industrial-Mining projects in the North West of Iran so that the entire parts of steel making process (from iron ore mining to providing steel products) will be realized by constructing the foresaid complex.

Under construction plants of this complex are included of :

• Iron Ore Benefication plant with annual capacity of 1,000,000 tons.
• Coal Based Direct Reduction plant with annual capacity of 400,000 tons.
• Steel Making plant with annual capacity of 500,000 tons.
• Bar & Medium Section Mills with annual capacity of 500,000 tons.
• Air Separation Plant for the production of 4000 Nm3/h gaseous oxygen.
