ATA Airlines was established with the aim of helping the development of air transportation industry in March 2009. It formally started operating in April 2010 as a subsidiary of Daric Investment Group.
Currently, ATA airlines fleet is consist of 8 Boeing MD-83 , 3 Airbus A320 & 6 Boeing 737 In the context of a medium-term plan, this number will be increased to twenty aircrafts.
This company by carrying 1,535,211 passengers in 2013 has increased 25% in passenger transportation Compared to 2012. This company has such domestic routes as Tehran, Tabriz, Orumieh, Ardabil, Mashhad, Kish, Ahwaz, Shiraz and such international routes as Turkey, Georgia, Iraq, Bahrain and Kuwait in its flight schedule.
As a result of performed endeavors and plans , ATA Airlines has been designated as the most successful Airlines in providing provincial flight services and awarded by “Iran Civil Aviation Organization” in 2010. ATA has been able to reach the complete technical and operational independence by training expert manpower as technical staff, pilots, co-pilots & flight attendants even is capable to provide technical and operational services to the other Airlines.

ATA AIRLINES achievements AS FOLLOW:

• Obtaining all the required licenses from “International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO)” & “International Air Transport Association (IATA)”
• Contracting with “Société Internationale de Télécommunications Aéronautiques (SITA)” for utilization of “Gabriel System”
• Electronic Ticket (ET)
• E-Booking
• Preparing “Ground Operation Manual (GOM)” for improving the quality and more safety based on international standards.
• Cargo sales System
• Ground handling system in Tabriz

Also the first maintenance hangar located in north-west of the country is being constructed to services ATA airline and other domestic & foreign airlines fleet by this company at the shahid madani international airport.
